Get involved with our exciting new project!
For the spring term 2012 all singers will be working on MazeMusic with music by Janet Wheeler and songs by Sting and Bob Chilcott, for a concert on 3 March 2012 at St Mary's Church, Saffron Walden.
For 'SignuptoSing' participants this will be an exciting opportunity to sing with local adult choirs Saffron Walden Choral Society and Granta Chorale, and the much-admired Britten Sinfonia chamber orchestra in a concert that will be given as part of 'Music Nation' - a national programme of events which celebrates the Cultural Olympiad. Supported by LOCOG and the BBC.
Rehearsals begin on Monday 9 January 2012 at Saffron Walden County High School.

Quotes and Comments
Last night's concert was a triumph - I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be coming to future ones. What a lot of talent there is in Saffron Walden youth!
Thank you so much for organising the Vivaldi project. Everyone I spoke to - including myself - was surprised and thrilled at the high level and beauty of the concert. It was a wonderful evening. My daughter enjoyed herself thoroughly and was thrilled to take part in a proper choir.
'Many thanks for all the hard work that
everyone put into Friday's concert - it was a fabulous evening,
both for the performers and the audience'
