Come and join us in an exciting new venture! Come and be a part of an amazing musical celebration of Saffron Walden!

'SignuptoSing' will be joining other local choirs directed by Janet Wheeler in a ground-breaking new project this spring. The youth choir will be taking part in 'Music Nation' - a national programme of events which celebrates the Cultural Olympiad in the run up to the Olympic Games 2012.

In a gala concert 'SignuptoSing' will perform music by Bob Chilcott and Sting and together with Saffron Walden Choral Society and Granta Chorale will perform MAZE, a new cantata composed by Janet Wheeler.

This innovative project is supported by both LOCOG (the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games) and the BBC.

Be a part of this project! Singers aged 8-18 are warmly encouraged to sign up for this event. Come and join in the fun! The deadline for online and telephone applications is 6th December 2011. Auditions will be held on 7th and 13th December. Weekly rehearsals begin on Monday 9th January from 6.00-7.20pm at Saffron Walden County High School (see the map on the Contact page).
